Togean Naturale is a remarkable Women Empowerment project that operates in remote Indonesian villages. This initiative trains local women to create natural products using ingredients sourced from their community farms. With a focus on empowering women in Bali, Sulawesi, and Papua, this project originated in the Togean Islands of Sulawesi.

The Bajau women of the area were trained to produce high-quality Virgin Coconut Oil, Patchouli Oil, and natural soap. This outstanding project is spearheaded by Sihkami Denting, a visionary Social Entrepreneur who has created a sustainable island and eco-factory complete with solar panels and rainwater harvesting.

Togean Naturale has now expanded to other islands such as Bali, where the women of Jehem village, and Papua, in the villages of Saupapir and Saukabu, produce a range of natural products such as lotion, shampoo, and incense sticks.
